John and Kris Rowan – The Founders
John Rowan was born in Canada and immigrated to the U.S. with his family, settling in Portland, Oregon. He worked as a builder and carpenter in the trades and building industry while completing college and flight school. John eventually became a commercial pilot with Alaska Airlines, then United Airlines, and also spent many years as a corporate pilot, having the pleasure of meeting business owners and celebrities while taking them and their families worldwide. While working in aviation, John owned and operated many businesses and worked in the real estate industry, building, renovating, buying, and selling homes in Oregon, Washington, California, Illinois, and Arizona.
John knew he had a passion for real estate. After selling his businesses and leaving the commercial aviation world, he moved with his family to Arizona to enjoy the friendly people and sunshine, dedicating himself to building Quick Cash Phoenix Homes. John is married to Kris, and together, they have four daughters and 2 wonderful grandchildren, with more on the way. Kris worked in one of Chicago’s largest hospitals before attending Loyola University’s journalism program. She became the first dedicated Nurse News Reporter for the CBS affiliate in Portland, Oregon.
Known as “Nurse Kris,” she traveled the country and the world, reporting on significant medical stories, health-related events, and public health issues. She interviewed medical professionals, visited hospitals and spoke with groundbreaking doctors and celebrities. During the Kosovo War, she traveled with the NW Medical Team to provide support and shed light on the medical crisis. After leaving the fast-paced news business to pursue her passion for business and design, Kris now uses her keen eye for detail and bargain-hunting to transform homes into designer showplaces while keeping costs affordable. Kris brings an “EYE” for design to all her projects.
